Nigel James is a London based lawyer but has now embarked on a second career as a writer. He is married with two children and has homes in Hertfordshire, London and Spain.
Nigel is an avid sports fan and his first novel was the horse racing thriller Deep Secret. The story concerns top jockey Alec Hammond's quest to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup, the one big race to elude him in his glittering career. Finally, he has a horse good enough, but others are equally determined that the horse will not win. Murder, blackmail and kidnap ensue as the world of horse racing clashes with the adult movie industry and the action comes to a dramatic climax on Gold Cup day.
